The remaining two licences to Boat Shed #2 (the red boat shed on the right below) and Boat Shed #6 will be auctioned this Saturday 15 April 2017 at 11:30am on site at Indented Head. All enquiries should be directed to Luke Campbell or Trevor McManus at Neville Richards Real Estate on 03 5257 1778. The licence to Boat Shed #11 sold for $116,000 a few weeks ago. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to own the licence to one of these iconic beachfront boat sheds with a bigger footprint than those on the other side of the Bay.

The works to replace the Indented Head boat ramp with a new ramp began in late February and when completed will provide access to a wider variety of vessels and relieve congestion at the St Leonards boat ramp, which can become extremely busy during the peak fishing season.

Works are progressing well with the removal of exposed and damaged section of the boat ramp completed and the installation of sheet piling well underway. These works have taken longer than anticipated due to difficult soil conditions. The boat ramp is now on track to be completed by the end of April. We apologise for any inconvenience over the busy Easter period.

Sharon began working as a housekeeper with Bellarine Bayside two and half years ago after making some life changes and pursuing a role that suited the needs of family. Sharon is currently the Housekeeping Supervisor at Bellarine Bayside, but prior to this she worked as a hotel financial controller for 12 years overseeing the financial operations of five country hotels. This experience allows Sharon to occasionally work in accounts with our Finance and Business Manger, Mike Hodges when required. Sharon currently lives in Ocean Grove with her husband Caleb and youngest son Hector, while her two older children live and study in Melbourne. 

The National Celtic Festival is held annually in Portarlington on the June long weekend. Bellarine Bayside is a Principal Community Partner of the National Celtic Festival and we are again partnering with the Festival team to provide a limited number of heavily discounted camping and ticket packages. These are available to purchase through the National Celtic Festival website until sold out and the package details are provided below.

Powered Site and Ticket Packages

• Couple + 2 Nights Camp – $365 for 2x Weekend adult tickets plus a powered site for 2 nights for 2 adults only at Portarlington Holiday Park.
• Couple + 3 Nights Camp – $400 for 2x Weekend adult tickets plus a powered site for 3 nights for 2 adults only at Portarlington Holiday Park.
• Single + 2 Nights Camp – $215 for 1x Weekend adult ticket plus a powered site for 2 nights for 1 adult only at Portarlington Holiday Park.
• Single + 3 Nights Camp – $250 for 1x Weekend adult ticket plus a powered site for 3 nights for 1 adult only at Portarlington Holiday Park.

PLEASE NOTE: ADDITIONAL CAMPING GUESTS INCUR AN OVERNIGHT FEE OF $16 PER ADULT PER NIGHT AND $8.50 PER CHILD (2-16 YEARS) PER NIGHT. PLEASE ADVISE BELLARINE BAYSIDE ON ARRIVAL.

Twelve month permit contracts have been posted to all current permit-holders. All signed permit agreements together with caravan registration papers and your public liability insurance Certificate of Currency must be returned with payment (or the first instalment) prior to 30 June 2017. Early bird fees are to be paid in full by 31 May 2017 (a fee schedule will be provided in the contract pack). Permit-holders are reminded that, under the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978, these permits are not automatically granted and if granted the permit-holder must abide by the conditions set out in the permit. Under these conditions sites can only be used for a maximum of 59 consecutive nights per year and a total of 180 days in a calendar year.
