President's Message

Welcome to April and we continue to see new members, and some old members surfacing at the Centre of late. It is great to welcome the new and catch up with our valued regulars.

Please, any volunteers will always be welcomed with open arms as we have various jobs around the Centre that need regular servicing to make the Centre run at full steam.

Farewell to Merilyn as she journeys off into the sunset, see you when you come back to us and thank you for your input.

The Centre also wishes to acknowledge our new Treasurer Nicole and thank her for her work in this valuable area.

You will notice some changes around the Centre lately with new book cases and moving of furniture to change the energy. A Healers and Readers board has been put up behind the desk to help new members decide on their healer and in the near future a welcoming book with further information on our healers and readers will be on display.

We are in the process of buying more healing beds to help with the increasing numbers on Malcolm Bell's Healing nights and these can be used at the markets and fairs we attend throughout the year.

Pam our Social Director has asked for expressions of interest for a Calm water cruise and lunch on Sunday 22nd May up the inlet on the "Spirit of Cairns". Price is $55 each and needs to be paid to Pam to reserve booking. The Spirit of Cairns is air-conditioned and meals include complimentary drink, buffet lunch (hot and cold) and dessert. Pam puts a lot of effort into these events so come along and catch up with her at the Centre to pay and book.

Price Increase

The Committee wish to inform you that,
as of 1st July 2016,
the cost of a half hour healing or reading
will increase from $10 to $15.
(Concession price of $10 available)

We hope you understand that this is to keep pace with increasing costs.
All other charges remain the same.

Practice Channelling with Steve

Would you like to connect with your higher self?

This group was started last year in response to people

wanting to improve their intuition.

Different ways of channelling will be explored.

The evening starts with meditation and ends with
a sharing of what people received.

This is how the evening will go:

1. Start with a meditation/journey
2. Cuppa break
3. Channelled Talk/lecture/knowledge session by Mother Sha-Riah (Shaman) or guest shamanic speaker (live or over skype)

Wednesdays:

9am to 12.30pm Cairns Spiritual Centre is open for healings, readings and meditation.
$5 entry includes meditation, refreshments, browse the library
or just chat to like minded people.

Meditation 9.30am to 10am.

Half hour healings and readings are an additional $10
(concessions available).

4 Week Mindfulness Meditation Course with Julie Heskins
